Neighbourhood Policing Week 2025

This week is Neighbourhood Policing Week, we wanted to give you an insight into what we do on a daily basis and showcase it in different ways throughout the week.

Today we have:

  • Attended to admin enquires via email, in person reporting and social media
  • Attended a report of Antisocial behaviour (ASB) involving a person unwantedly moving items around estates
  • Attended a report of a person potentially squatting in a property
  • Assisted our colleagues on Response Policing (999 cops) by attending a report of an assault
  • Attended another report of Antisocial behaviour in one of the local parks involving young persons
  • Proactively foot patrolled our local areas of concern

This is just a snapshot of what we do on a daily basis, we also have many other duties which include but are not limited to visiting victims of crime, attending local community events and providing reassurance to the local community. We proactively work with the community to identify and target local issues to make the community a better and safer place.
